The final match of the Kabaddi competition organized by 'Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Trust' in Pune was played between Air India and Income Tax Bombay. In this match, Air India defeated the Income Tax Team by 46-21 points to win the Ganesh Trophy.
At the time of interval, Air India team had 29-10 lead. Air India's Siddharth Desai and Monu attacked magnificently. With Vikas Kale and Umesh Mhatre defending valiantly, Air India made a decisive lead in the 11th minute and in the 19th minute. Air India's Siddharth Desai continued his attack even after the interval thus ensuring his team's victory.
