In an endeavour to promote and present ingredients that are ‘good for the gut’, 212 All Good at High Street Phoenix has collaborated with HydroFarm Biotech for a unique workshop on Soil-less Organic Kitchen Gardening under the aegis of ‘The All Good Series’ on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

With sustainability and wellbeing being the common ethos of both brands, the workshop aims to bring diners closer to the ingredients they consume and is an exemplification of the philosophy, ‘you are what you eat’.

Through this interactive workshop with botanists, guests can learn how to grow vegetables and herbs in their homes without using soil and in a sustainable manner. The session will also include a culinary demonstration by Chef Paul Kinny, Culinary Director – Phoenix Mills Limited on simple, easy to make recipes with fresh, home-grown produce.

With a special focus on the space limitation that most Mumbai homes have, the key take-aways of the workshop will be:

· Growing plants through a soil-less organic potting medium

· Planting vegetable seeds the right way

· Watering - how and how much

· Plant life cycle of different vegetables

· Planning your own food garden

· Tips on making compost at home

· Recycle and upcycle of organic waste

· Sustainable gardening

· Container food gardening.
