Churchgate-The 66th Convocation Ceremony of the SNDT Women's University was held at the Lady Shantabai Patkar Auditorium.
11,844 students received their degrees. In all 179 degrees of 12 different faculties were awarded, 47 students also received their PhD degrees.
On this occasion Ex Chief Justice Chandrashekhar Dharmadhikari interacted with the students.
He said that girls need to be strong enough to protect themselves and should not depend on others for security.
Hon Governor of Maharashtra C Vidyasagar Rao graced the occasion.
