Kick start your 2018 with this premier sports festival, held every year by K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering with 14 events, with Throwball being the new entrant! The fest will have events that will cover the length and breadth of the sprawling Somaiya Vidyavihar Campus with prizes worth ₹5 Lakh at stake!

Skream has been functional for the last five years and has been attended by sporting greats such as Mir Ranjan Negi, Poonam Chopra, Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Wasim Jaffer, Uday Bedekar, and Ashish K. Srivastava. With enthusiastic participation ranging from pan India, Skream has created a niche for itself amongst the echelon of sports festivals.

Sports has always been a great leveller, and this is the opportunity for all the sportspersons to participate and grace the festival! With cut-throat rivalry, engaging informal, and a jovial audience, Skream 2018 will be a treat for one and all!

Bollywood is one of the biggest movie industry on the planet and churns out movies every Friday. Such a big industry also has lots of musicians that churn out sensational music for these films. For all my Bollywood lovers, this is the go-to music festival coming up this January 2018 for you all! 

Bollywood Music Project is a festival that is dedicated to Bollywood music and the musicians who create it. By numbers, Bollywood music project is Asia's biggest Bollywood music festival and has seen performances by major singers, musicians, and bands that make Bollywood music. 

One of its kind festivals has the privilege of being liked by millions and attended by lakhs. The festival is in its second year and going by last year response, we can say that the festival will indeed turn out to be a big success this time as well. Last year, the festival took place in Mumbai and Delhi and was attended by 50,000 people. Artists like Amit Trivedi, Jassi Gill, Badshah and more. One artist like these are added to the lineup, one can say that the festival is really big.

Different people find solace in different genres of music. Some sway with the saxophones in jazz while some like to tap their feet on the beats of electro music. However, there is a huge population that proudly indulges in classical music and embrace it. 'Swaranjali' is the annual music festival organised by the Swaraprabha Charitable Trust. It is a three-day annual music festival solely devoted to the lovers and students of Indian Classical Music.

The 'Swaraprabha Trust' has been registered as a charitable trust which is solely devoted to spread and propagate Indian Classical Music among the people in general and especially youngsters Swaranjali is organized to pay homage to (Late) Pt. Suresh Haldankar, (Late) Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki and the (Late) Padmabhushan Pt. C. R. Vyas, the three gurus who have bestowed guidance and contributed to the in-depth knowledge of classical music of Pt. Prabhakar Karekar.

'Swaranjali 2018' will be held at Nehru Centre Auditorium on January 4, 5, and 6 January 2018 and will have performances by noted Indian Classical Music maestros like Smt. Ashwini Bhide- Deshpande, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty and Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. This music event is going to be a wonderful experience.

The event has an entry fee ranging from ₹900-1800 and each ticket grants entry to one person on all three days of the event!
