Music enlightens your inner self, who else can imbibe this fact other than a Musician. This World Music Day, Bollywood’s ace singer Ankit Tiwari spoke exclusively to Mumbai Live about his future plans as a singer and how he wishes to discover new heights in the musical world.
Ankit Tiwari, who has lent his voice for popular tracks like Sun Raha Hai Na Tu, Galliyan, Tay Hain, Dil Cheez Tujhe Dedi and many more, says that he loves to understand the lyrics, the meaning behind it and comprehend melodies before taking up a song. ‘Chup Ke Se’, the song from Saathiya is his inspiration and music albums of movies like Jannat and Lagaan are his all-time favourite.
The artist celebrated World Music Day by recording a single ‘Bajne Do Night and Day’ which released today. “Thanks to 9x media and Gaurav Das Gupta for approaching me for this video. There are versatile renowned singers such as Shaan, Jyotika Tangri, Dev Negi, Sabri Brothers, Akriti Kakkar, Shruti Pathak and Nav Raj Hans singing together. The foot tapping music in the video is composed by Gourov-Roshin with lyrics by Kunwar Juneja. When I heard the song I felt great and especially on the occasion of World Music Day, all of us (musicians) coming together in itself is a wonderful thought”, said Ankit.

The singer aspires to be the best musician in the music sphere and wishes to explore various aspects of music as a composer in depth and wants to try hands on different genres as a singer. Ankit wants the budding talent to go with the digital medium flow and make use of the platform as much as possible. Elaborating about his digital platform the composer averred, “I have recently unveiled my digital channel. The platform is only about music and its other elements. It will focus on the making of a song and will introduce the hardworking team behind each single or an album”.
