Sahyadri Guest House is one of the most visited locations by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, cabinet ministers and others officials. During the lockdown, several meetings are arranged here on a frequent basis. The structure is around 25 years old and the recently conducted audit mentioned that there was no risk at the building.

However, this incident has raised concerns among the officials. Several members from the government have called for another audit and have told that action needs to be taken against the contractor for poor quality of work.
