Yuva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray along with former Congress Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi, held an interactive session 'Aditya Sanvad (Conversation)' with the youth at National Sports Complex of India (NSCI) in Mumbai.

A brainchild of Aditya himself, such sessions were also held at Kolhapur and Nashik. The crowd mainly comprised of students who asked their questions to Aditya through chits with their name written on it.

Aditya stated that his main motive to conduct these sessions is to appeal to the youth to vote, especially, the first time voters. Most of the questions were seeking career advice from Aditya to which he replied that a career is not defined by marks and degrees but the choices made by the individual. The nation has an archaic education infrastructure and they are working towards making it contemporary, where students can choose what they want to study, that too from an early stage.

On being asked about the difference between Shiv Sena and other political parties, he said that Shiv Sena is trying to create a political system which is more answerable and where transparency is maintained.

While answering about criminalisation in politics he further said that there is 'political crime' and there is 'hard crime'. Both are two different perceptions with the former being an innate part of every politician and the latter should not be allowed to be a part of the electoral process.

The next session of Aditya Sanvad will be held in Pune on April 24.
