Bhiwandi Lok Sabha MP Union Minister Kapil Patil met MNS President Raj Thackeray at his Krishnakunj residence in Mumbai on Monday morning. On this occasion, Union Minister Patil thanked Raj Thackeray for supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister for the third time.


MNS has strength in six areas in Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency. In the previous election, MNS had secured more than one lakh votes through Balya Mama. Therefore, it will help Patil to get votes of Shiv Sena, NCP and MNS along with BJP

The present leaders said that the Union Minister Patil also told Raj Thackeray that MNS functionaries and workers of Murbad, Shahapur, Bhiwandi East, West, Rural, Kalyan assembly constituencies of Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituencies should cooperate with their full strength for their campaign.

It is understood that Raj Thackeray might hold a convenient campaign meeting in Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency for his campaign. Since Raj Thackeray has supported MahaYuti, now Raj Thackeray's image is appearing on MahaYuti's campaign boards. Local activists in some places are upset about Raj Thackeray's support for MahaYuti. Due to this displeasure, many office bearers in Dombivli have resigned. In many places angry and disappointed MNS leaders are being taken care of. There is talk in the BJP that Raj Thackeray's visit is a major attempt to remove the local level of resentment towards Union Minister Kapil Patil.


During this meeting, Raj Thackeray and Kapil Patil discussed development issues in Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency, civic issues and campaign strategy accordingly, the leaders said. During this visit, MNS MLA Pramod Patil, MNS leaders Avinash Jadhav, Abhijit Panse, D. K. Mhatre and other dignitaries were present.
