The BJP leaders have started joining Shiv Sena (Shinde) leaving aside their party loyalty to get the constituency seats. Former Palghar BJP MP Rajendra Gavit, former BJP Union Minister Raosaheb Patil-Danve's daughter Sanjana Jadhav and former Boisar MLA Vilas Tare joined the Shiv Sena in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Gavit and Tare were declared candidates by the Shinde group as soon as they entered.


A few days ago, Nilesh Rane, son of BJP leader Narayan Rane, joined the Shiv Sena Shinde group. He was announced as a candidate from Kudal. After that, the BJP leaders have turned their attention to the seats that have gone to the Shinde Sena. For the past few days, many of the leaders are joining Shinde’s Shiv Sena leaving the BJP.

Former Palghar MP Rajendra Gavit, former Union Minister Raosaheb Danve's daughter Sanjana Jadhav and former Boisar MLA Vilas Tare joined the Shinde faction at Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's residence in Thane on Sunday. As soon as he was admitted, the candidature was also announced. 


Rajendra Gavit was announced from Palghar, Vilas Tare from Boisar. Although the candidature of Sanjana Jadhav has not been announced, her candidature is likely to be announced soon. BJP leader Santosh Shetty has also been nominated in Bhiwandi East constituency.
