Ahead of elections next year and as a part of BJP’s ‘Sampark for Samarthan Abhiyaan’, BJP President Amit Shah on Wednesday met Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit at her residence in Juhu.
During the meet, Shah offered Madhuri Dixit a seat in the Rajya Sabha. However, until now there has been no official confirmation regarding the same from BJP’s and Madhuri’s side.

Shah is also going to meet Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. Amid a massive ongoing clash between Shiv Sena and BJP, this meets aims to rectify the disruption between both the parties. For this, Shah will go to Matoshree to meet Thackeray.

Before meeting Thackeray, Shah had planned to meet Industrialist Ratan Tata and veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar. However, Shah’s meeting with Lata Mangeshkar was called off as the veteran singer was unwell.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis along with state Education Minister Vinod Tawde, BJP state president Raosaheb Danwe accompanied Shah during his meet with Madhuri Dixit. They both interacted for nearly an hour and gave her a book which mentioned the work of Modi government in four years of power.
With Shah meeting personalities in Mumbai, there have been many political speculations regarding the same. As a part of BJP’s campaign strategy, it is gathering support for the upcoming elections in Maharashtra and country.
