BMC polls literally turning into ‘Mahabharat’

SHARES

Mumbai – Taking the names of characters from the epic ‘Mahabharat’, the earlier friends and now foes in the BMC have literally started taking the modern day politics to the Dwapar Yuga. In the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Melava held at the NSE ground in Goregaon on Saturday, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and City BJP president Ashish Shelar harshly criticised the Shiv Sena and its president Uddhav Thackeray.
CM Devendra Fadnavis was so confident and aggressive that he claimed to show the Sena its real value on February 21.
This Mahabharat between these two ruling parties in the state started from the day Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray announced his decision to break up the alliance with the BJP in the BMC elections. Fadnavis reacted the same way Thackeray had started this war of words. With the fast approaching civic elections, the Mumbaikars will have to see a long battle between these parties that are getting ready for further attacks.
