The Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly violating the code of conduct by upholding all laws. Nitin Gadkari, BJP's Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency candidate and MLA Mohan Mate have openly violated the model code of conduct. State Congress Chief Spokesperson Atul Londhe has demanded that Nitin Gadkari's candidature be canceled for violating the code of conduct by using posters of Lord Shri Ram to influence voters.

In a letter written by the state election officer, Atul Londhe says that Nitin Gadkari has tried to influence voters by using religion as the basis of his campaign. Posters depicting Lord Shri Ram have been used, violating the Election Code of Conduct. This type of BJP is immoral and polarizes religious voters. These posters have also been used by the BJP to spread hatred against the Congress party. The conduct of BJP and Nitin Gadkari is a violation of the Model Code of Conduct and the Election Commission should take immediate action including canceling their candidature and imposing appropriate penalty on BJP.

The Election Commission is not taking any action against the ruling BJP while the Bharatiya Janata Party is flouting all the rules. Government machinery has become puppets of BJP.
