After getting discharged from KEM hospital, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal on Thursday addressed the media. In this introductory press conference, Bhujbal praised Shiv Sena and said that during crises, Shiv Sena had helped him.

His remarks come after his son and NCP leader Pankaj Bhujbal met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray at the latter’s residence. Bhujbal also said that he had accompanied Shiv Sena for 25 years so there are some relations with the party.

However, Chhagan Bhujbal said that NCP chief Sharad Pawar was the first one to call him after he was out of jail. After spending two years in jail and a week in the hospital, Bhujbal tried to mark his presence in Maharashtra politics.

While speaking to the media, maintaining his light humour, Bhujbal said, “I am glad that Maharashtra Sadan is everyone’s favourite.” A BJP MP told Bhujbal that the Sadan is built beautifully. Talking about his case, he said that the truth will come out in front of everyone.

Earlier today, Pankaj Bhujbal spoke about his father’s medical condition and informed that Bhujbal has been suffering from an ailment related to pancreas for the last two months but he is slightly better now. However, he may need surgery for his medical problem.
