Civic issue concern or election gimmick?

Andheri- The BMC elections are round the corner and corporators are in a hurry to address civic issues. Shivani Parab, corporator from Shankar wadi, Andheri east, is keen to illuminate the road from Gulabi school to Manish park at the earliest. Parab's current ward 79 has now been demarcated as an open ward and her husband Shailesh Parab is contesting this election from that ward. So is her concern for the ward genuine or just a gimmick to garner votes for her husband? Either way, it's a win win situation for residents.
