In a reply to the Governor’s address, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while speaking in state legislative assembly amid the ongoing winter session. CM Thackeray said that this is “Auto Rickshaw wala” government and not “bullet train wala”. This government is for the poor, for the ones who can’t afford the ticket to travel in a bullet train, CM added.
Earlier, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Maharashtra legislative assembly, Devendra Fadnavis labelled the government “Stagiti Sarkar” stating that the government is giving stay to all the projects.
This a three-wheeler government, it won’t last for long,” said Fadnavis.
Reacting to this, CM Uddhav Thackeray said that all the stays on projects will be lifted soon after clarifying doubts and rectifying mistakes.
This government will not be vindictive in relation to the development of the state,” CM Thackeray assured.
Furthermore, CM Thackeray slammed the BJP for not keeping its word on the 50-50 formula decided before the Lok Sabha elections which held this year.
