SHARES

Dadar- Maharashtra Transport Minister Diwakar Raote who visited the Mumbai Live office as part of our ‘Ungli Uthao’ campaign, targeted the BJP saying that prior to the alliance with the Shiv Sena, the BJP was not strong and that it was only after the alliance that BJP became strong in Maharashtra.
Diwakar Raote spoke to Mumbai Live team and also answered the questions asked to him on Facebook, Twitter. During the conversation with the editorial team of Mumbai Live, Raote said
Mumbaikars feel for the Shiv Sena as their own party. If an alliance takes place between Sena and BJP, Congress and NCP party will come to an end, he said. If BJP is not ready, then Shiv Sainiks under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray are ready to fight alone. BJP by speaking against Sena has made the Sena bitter, so Raote said he owed the BJP thanks on that score.
The 67-year-old ST Corporation was in debt of two crore rupees, but after he has taken charge as the Transport Minister, he said he was trying to make a difference with several initiatives. He said that he is trying to end the corruption caused by the agents in the RTOs. Currently, the manpower is only 40 per cent and he has given permission to recruit for various posts. Raote also requested people not to go to the agents for getting the driving licenses done.
When asked if the Shiv Sena would go with MNS for the upcoming BMC elections, Raote sarcastically asked if the MNS still exists, and later added that he does not take the MNS seriously said that they are not playing any game to take anyone along.
