The first national convention of MIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Musliman) will be held on Saturday and Sunday (February 25 and 26) at Mahape in Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. Emphasis has been placed on organising the party more in the state. As a part of it, meetings have been organised in the Muslim-majority areas of Mumbra and Malvani.

Since the formation of MIM, a national convention has never been held, MP Imtiaz Jalil informed that the national convention has been organised as the party has expanded across all states. On Saturday, the party convention will be held at Hotel Ramada in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. A public meeting will be held at Mumbra on the same day in the evening. On the first day, all MPs-MLAs, spokespersons, state presidents of the party will participate. The convention will held in Chembur on the next day i.e. Sunday.

On Sunday, the representatives of the party, all the district presidents, and representatives from all over the country will be invited. Party President MP Asaduddin Owaisi will guide the party. Next day evening meeting will be held in Malad Malvani. MIM is getting support in various states. Jalil said that efforts will be made to grow the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha as well as assembly elections in various states.
