Former corporator Rupali Suresh Awale and her husband former corporator Suresh Awale of Ward No. 125 of Ghatkopar of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) joined Shiv Sena in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday. Meanwhile, party entrants have supported development only because they want development. Also, Chief Minister Shinde claimed at this time that there will be more admissions.


Former corporator Rupali Suresh Awale  and her husband ex-corporator Suresh Awale came here in large numbers on Saturday afternoon in the Shubhdeep residence area of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Thane. Chief Minister Shinde admitted them all to the party and wished them all the best for their future endeavours.

Former corporator Suresh Awale was elected on MNS ticket in 2012, former corporator Rupali Awale was elected on Shiv Sena ticket in 2017. While reacting to the journalists regarding this party entry, Chief Minister Shinde claimed that there will be more entries in the future. All of them have supported the development only because the problems in the ward are not solved. 


"A cleanliness campaign has been implemented in Mumbai for the past few days through the state government. This has helped reduce pollution in Mumbai. Various development works are being done through the state government. That is why 53 corporators from Mumbai have joined Shiv Sena so far. They want development, so they support development. Chief Minister Shinde said on this occasion that there will be more admissions. I am not a Chief Minister who sits at home, but a Chief Minister who works on the streets. Due to this, many people have shown faith in me", CM Eknath Shinde said.
