Increase in Haj quota necessary, says Naqvi

Mumbai – “It is necessary to increase the Haj quota. We support the online process for Haj and soon an app will be launched for filing an application form for Haj pilgrimage,” said Union Minister of State for minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi while addressing a press conference at the Haj House near CST on Monday. He added that a programme will be organised to train people on how to take the holy pilgrimage of Mecca Madina. The Indian government of India has initiated talks with the government of Saudi Arabia for an increase in quota for Indian Muslims, said Naqvi.
