Chembur – The Congress party took out Jan Akrosh morcha in Chembur on Thursday evening to protest against the Central government’s decision of demonetization of high value currency notes. The morcha was taken out in Khardev nagar and Ghatle areas under the guidance of Hemant Patil, president of South-Central Mumbai District Congress Committee. Congress activists alleged that Modi government took this decision without giving a proper thought to it which has affected the masses. A large number of women participated in this morcha.
