On May 23, Thursday, the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 results were scheduled to be declared. As the day progressed, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Shiv Sena alliance looked to attain an easy lead.
However, amidst the vote counting procedure, which was being conducted smoothly, two complaints were filed with the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The first complaint was filed by Pawan Pandey from Bhartiya Sarvodaya Party (BSP) had filed a complaint regarding the opening of the seal of the strong room. Here's the written complaint filed by Pandey.
On the other hand, Mumbai Congress had filed a complaint with the ECI after the form of EVM 17C from Magathane, the signatures and the machine numbers were noticed to be different.
