In the assembly elections, the state has an average of 66 percent voting. This year there has been an increase of five percent compared to last time. After three decades, the voting percentage has increased in the state. So now the increased votes have gone to who exactly and this will benefit Mahayuti or Mahavikas Aghadi will reveal on November 23.
In the Lok Sabha elections held six months ago, there was 61.29 percent voter turnout in the state. In 2019, the voting percentage in the state was also 61.1 in the assembly elections. Compared to both of these, there has been an increase of five percent this time. The highest 76.25 percent voting in the state has taken place in Kolhapur district.
Below that, 75.26 percent voting has taken place in Gadchiroli district. Mumbai city district has the lowest polling of 52.07 percent. According to the latest data provided by the Election Commission, ten districts namely Nagar (71.73 percent), Buldhana (70.60 percent), Chandrapur (71.27 percent), Hingoli (71.10 percent), Jalna (72.53 percent) Nandurbar (70.51 per cent), Parbhani (70.38 per cent), Sangli (71.89 per cent), Satara (71.71 per cent), Yavatmal (70.86 per cent) have reached seven decade percentage.
Mumbai's Colaba (44.44 per cent) has been the lowest polling constituency. 55.77 percent voting in Mumbai suburb district and 56.05 percent voting was reported in Thane district. When the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government came to power in the state in 1995, the voter turnout was 71 percent. After that, the highest turnout took place this time.
