Maharashtra's caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been admitted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane. It is being said that he was admitted to the hospital as his health was not good and his health was continuously deteriorating.
However, according to a video that went viral on the internet, the caretaker Chief Minister has stated that his health is fine. When asked about his health, Eknath Shinde said, "Badhiya hai".
Eknath Shinde's health had deteriorated after he went to his native village in Satara. Eknath Shinde has fever, cold and throat infection and was under medical observation.
His family doctor later informed the media that Eknath Shinde's health is improving. Eknath Shinde returned to Mumbai from Satara on Sunday.
Meanwhile, preparations are currently underway at Azad Maidan for the oath ceremony of the new Mahayuti government of Maharashtra to be held on December 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony.
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is seen as a possible candidate for the chief minister's post, but no official announcement has been made yet. The BJP legislature party will meet on December 4 to decide on the CM of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule visited the venue on Monday. Chief ministers, deputy chief ministers, union ministers, governors and top BJP leaders of BJP-ruled states have been invited.
According to sources, religious leaders, artists and writers from across Maharashtra will also participate in it.
