Amid the tension on the border between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack and retaliation from both sides, the ongoing interim budget session in Maharashtra may be adjourned. According to sources, all the parties will meet on Thursday after which the ongoing interim budget session might get adjourned.

The police personnel, in large numbers, are deployed for security reasons during the state session in the legislature. However, sources informed that these police personnel will be positioned for monitoring Mumbai and the state.

Before the state budget session is adjourned, the Maharashtra Legislature aims to pass the Appropriation bill as it allows the expenditure of government funds.
