On early Tuesday morning, Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out air strikes across Line of Control (LOC) destroying terror camps. India’s Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed that the air strike carried out by the IAF destroyed the terror camps being operated by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). 

According to sources, around 3:30 AM in the morning, 12 Mirage 2000 jets participated in the operation and destroyed JeM terror camps including others. The jets dropped 1000 kg bombs on the terror camps in Balakot, Chakothi, Muzaffarabad areas in Pakistan. 

As this happened, Mumbai and Delhi along with other cities across India are on high alert. After intelligence informed the Mumbai police to remain on high alert, the vigilance and CCTV surveillance has been increased in spaces such as Mumbai Airport, Railway Stations, and 94 landing ports.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Mumbai is always on high alert. However, the surveillance has been increased after Pulwama terror attack and the IAF air strikes carried out across LOC on Tuesday in retaliation to the former. Fadnavis further asked the people to not panic.
