Raj Thackeray invites LK Advani for his son's wedding; Leaves out PM Narendra Modi

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray has invited senior leaders from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet but not the PM himself

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has left Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the invitation list for his son’s wedding while Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader LK Advani have been invited.

Along with BJP veteran leader LK Advani, Raj Thackeray has invited senior leaders in Modi’s cabinet on the occasion of his son’s (Amit Thackeray) wedding on January 27 at St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel. 

The invitation list includes former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javdekar, Maneka Gandhi and others.

However, Thackeray did not invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before the 2014 general assembly elections, Raj Thackeray supported Narendra Modi for the Prime Ministerial post. However, Thackeray doesn’t leave a stone unturned in criticising Modi.
