On Wednesday, June 22, senior Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut took to Twitter to state that the journey of political developments in Maharashtra hint toward the dismissal of the Vidhan Sabha. 

His tweet read, "The journey of political developments in Maharashtra towards the dismissal of Vidhan Sabha .."

Amid this tweet which has caused a stir in the state's politics, narratives claim that Raut has indirectly signalled the resignation of state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. This many claims is Raut hinting that the Maharashtra Assembly could be dissolved. 

Reports claim that Thackeray could step down while Shinde and the legislators accompanying him are also anticipated to resign.

With the state cabinet meeting slated to be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, the said issue could be discussed. 

For those unversed, one of the prominent faces of Shiv Sena, and Urban Development Minister, Eknath Shinde along with certain MLAs has camped outside the state. 

With Shinde claiming to have the support of over 40 MLAs, earlier reports had mentioned that the Shiv Sena had housed its MLAs across various hotels in Mumbai to ensure that they do not get poached

Through this political turmoil that has taken everyone a back in the state, reports have been doing the rounds that Shinde was unhappy regarding the interference from other Sena ministers in his departments.
