Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, the Maratha Kranti Morcha (MKM) has decided to field its candidates on nearly every seat for the upcoming assembly polls. MKM coordinator Abasaheb Patil informed that although the reservation has been granted to the Maratha community. However, several demands still remain.

Patil said that the Maharashtra government did not fulfil the demands made by the Maratha community. The opposition and the ruling party are the same and only work for political gains.

This government came into power with the blessings of Shiv Chhatrapati. However, after coming to power, this government forgot the promises made to the Maratha community. The ruling party and opposition are all the same. Over last five years, all parties are using Maratha community for political gain,” Patil asserted.
