While protesting against Mumbai University administration in fort campus, Maharashtra MLA Bacchu Kadu on Wednesday informed that his organisation – Prahar Sangathan – will contest the upcoming state assembly elections on 10 to 12 seats.
The Prahar Sangathan carried out a protest against the Mumbai University Vice-Chancellor over the various demands of students in the university. Later, Bacchu Kadu joined the protest demonstration and met the Vice-Chancellor to inform him about the problems being faced by the students.
Omprakash Babarao Kadu alias Bacchu Kadu is a three-time elected Independent MLA from Achalpur assembly constituency in Maharashtra. Kadu won the state assembly election for the first time in the year 2004, followed by his win in the year 2009 and 2014. After winning the elections, Kadu formed his organisation – Prahar Sangathan.
While talking to Mumbai Live, Kadu informed that his organisation may contest on 10 to 12 assembly seats in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly session and the ‘Sangathan’ has started the preparation for the same. However, additional information regarding the same has not been announced yet.
