MMRC cuts power supply of political parties’ offices in Nariman Point

In order to get various political parties to vacate their office premises for Metro 3 work to start power supply to their offices located at the Nariman Point complex, was cut off on Saturday night. The NCP, Shiv Sena, Congress and some other government departments had been asked to shift their offices before the BMC polls.

The political parties had been allotted office space at Ballard Pier, but procrastination from their end resulted in this. The parties whose power supply was cut are now crying foul.The order of shifting of party offices and government offices has been issued by the state government. The MMRC is constructing Mumbai Metro–3 which will connect Cuffe Parade to Seepz.

We will go and meet the officials today itself told Congress Speaker, Sachin Sawant to Mumbai Live. NCP Spokesperson, Nawab Malik said, “ But we have been promised that power supply will be restored.”
