The MNS President Raj Thackeray met The Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner (BMC) Bhushan Gagrani and has raised the issue of patients coming from abroad. 


He has told the municipal commissioner that the patients coming from outside the state put a lot of pressure on the civic-run hospitals and the situation worsens. Will they be charged separately? It is coming to the fore that there has been talk about this.

"There is no problem of patients coming from Mumbai, Maharashtra in municipal hospitals. But patients coming from other states put a lot of pressure on the municipal hospitals and the situation worsens. The burden of all these things has to be borne by the municipality. It is not a question of whether patients coming from other states are wanted or not. But the patients who are coming from other states, the local municipality, people are offering money to some Mumbai municipality? Or should the Mumbai Municipality only see patients and increase the pressure on our city and hospital? There has been talk about whether some charges will be levied," said Raj Thackeray.
