Union Minister Ramdas Athawale's party may not have any MLA in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, but Ramdas Athawale's party won in the Nagaland Assembly elections. Athawale's Republican Party of India (RPI(A)) party has won two seats.

Athawale's Republican Party of India won two seats in the 2023 Nagaland Assembly elections. Moreover, NDPP is leading in 25 seats by winning 1 seat. The BJP has won 2 seats and is leading in 12 seats. Besides this, People's Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is leading in 3 seats. Sharad Pawar's NCP has also captured 7 seats.
