Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari recently sent a coffee table book to NCP President Sharad Pawar. The book titled 'Janarajyapal: Bhagat Singh Koshyari' was published by the Governor's Secretariat, Government of Maharashtra.

Offering his feedback regarding the same, Pawar stated that the book did not have any mention of the advice given to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Sharing his thought he also said that the word 'Janarajyapal' mentioned in the title does not appear in the actual Indian Constitution. Nevertheless, he sincerely thanked the governor for sending a well-known coffee table book which sheds light on his work limited to the period of one year.

As per reports, the coffee table book includes photographs of ceremonies such as one or two swearing-in events, receptions, consecration or sacred ceremonies, meetings of dignitaries and other socio-cultural events which saw his participation. However, there is no mention of the CM or advice given regarding the secularism.

A few weeks back, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari had written a letter to the CM reminding him of what Hindutva meant and asked him to consider opening the temples across Maharashtra. CM in his 'Thackeray-style reply' gave a response which was appreciated by the party members and followers. The CM questioned the Governor about his sudden approach to being ‘secular’ - a term he disliked?

The sarcastic conversation between the two has been going on for a few months now, and the Governor's language used for the communication with the CM was not appreciated by many members of the ruling party. Addressing the same, Sharad Pawar wrote to PM Modi informing him about the language used in the letter sent by Koshyari.

Besides this, the BJP who are in support of Koshyari, also expressed this displeasure over CMs thought on handling the current scenario, and the reply he gave to the Governor.
