After the successful air strike carried out by Indian Air Force (IAF) across Line of Control (LoC) destroying the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)  terror camps, leaders from various parties stood together and praised the IAF waving flags in the Vidhan Sabha premises. 

Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jitendra Awhad touched upon the Rafale deal issue which was a national issue for the opposition parties before the Pulwama terror attack. Awhad mentioned that Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) made Mirage jet helped with the air strike across LoC. 

The Mirage jets which were made by HAL employees in Nashik and because of the intelligence of our pilots, we retaliated well to Pakistan,” said NCP leader Jitendra Awhad while talking to the media.

Along with Congress and other opposition parties, NCP also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Rafale deal issue. Congress had accused the Modi government of giving the defence contract to Anil Ambani instead of HAL.
