The second day of the Maharashtra Legislature’s interim budget session started with celebrations after the Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out air strike across Line of Control (LoC). 12 Mirage-2000 jets participated in the operation on February 26 early morning destroying Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror camps. 

Several leaders from the ruling and opposition party waved the Indian flag in the premises of the Vidhan Bhawan. While leaders from Shiv Sena, BJP, NCP, Congress, AIMIM, and other parties praised the Indian Air Force and unanimously opined that India’s image has come strong before the world.

While talking to media, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi said that the IAF has retaliated to Pakistan and they welcome the move. Azmi further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not do politics over this.
