Sharad Pawar resignation row: NCP MLA Jitendra Ahwad resigns as National General Secretary

After Sharad Pawar resigned as president of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) party, its repercussions have begun to emerge. NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad has resigned from the post of National General Secretary. He has sent his resignation to NCP chief Sharad Pawar. All office bearers of Thane NCP have also resigned after Pawar Saheb's announcement (to resign from the post of party chief), said NCP leader Jitendra Awhad.

 
Sharad Pawar has demanded that almost all NCP leaders withdraw their resignations. Meanwhile, it is believed that Sharad Pawar is firm on his decision of resigning.

After resigning from the post of NCP President, Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule is being seen as the next President of NCP. Supriya Sule is currently the Lok Sabha MP from Baramati in Maharashtra. Baramati is considered the stronghold of Sharad Pawar. Supriya Sule is a three-time Member of Parliament from Baramati.
