The NCP led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar faced defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. Ajit Pawar group is uneasy due to this defeat. Party MLA Rohit Pawar has claimed that 18 to 19 MLAs of Ajit Pawar's group will return to Sharad Pawar's group. When Jayant Patil was asked about this, he avoided talking about the issue. Even if our MLAs go there, the people tend to be in our favor in the Lok Sabha elections. Our party has been cleansed since the MLA left. We will take the right decision at the right time regarding the MLAs who want to return, said Patil.

Patil said that the Pipani symbol had hit the party in the Lok Sabha elections. The Pipani symbol has received an average of 45,000 to 50,000 votes. In Dindori Lok Sabha constituency alone, Pipani symbol got 1 lakh 3 thousand votes. We were hit by Pipani being promoted as a trumpet. Patil said that he will go to the Election Commission about the Pipani symbol.
