No alliance for BMC elections: Congress

SHARES

Mumbai- Talks for the alliance are going on in various political parties, soon after the bugle of BMC election is blown. Maharashtra Congress president Sanjay Nirupam in a statement had made it all clear that the Congress party doesn’t want to go with his old alliance partner NCP for the upcoming BMC election.
On reacting to the statement of Sanjay Nirupam, Sachin Ahire spoke on Mumbai Live’s political program ‘Ungli Uthao’ said that if they don’t want alliance then even we are not requesting them for that, and NCP can contest the election on their own. For other Municipal and Zilla Parishad elections other than Mumbai, Congress seems to be in favors of an alliance. And it seems both Congress and NCP would stand against each other in Mumbai.
