In the aftermath of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) sweeping the Assembly elections 2022, across four states from five on Thursday, March 10, party leader Devendra Fadnavis while interacting with the media said that the fight will now be in Mumbai.

Fadnavis added that the fight will now be at the municipal polls. The party leader remarked that they won’t be against any party but are against bribery and corruption. Juxtaposing the situation in Uttar Pradesh to that of Maharashtra, he uttered, “Uttar Pradesh is just a tableau, Maharashtra is yet to come”.

The party workers were seen celebrating outside their office in Mumbai. Fadnavis while commenting about the Goa Election 2022 mentioned that Sena means BJP Sena and not Shiv Sena. He believes Shiv Sena’s fight is not with them but with NOTA.

The ex-chief minister went on to claim that the votes of NCP and Shiv Sena were less than that of NOTA. He further elucidated that those who alleged that they would topple the BJP government there have lost.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut while talking to reporters said they don’t have anything to be upset about and questioned why the BJP lost in Punjab. He reportedly claimed that the party has lost more in Punjab than the Congress and Shiv Sena did in Uttar Pradesh.
