On Tuesday, November 16, a state executive meeting was held in Mumbai. It was attended by all key leaders of the Maharashtra unit. Opposition leaders made remarks on Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

Those present in the meet were National general secretary CT Ravi and Dilip Saikiya, National joint general secretary Shivprakash, leader of the opposition and former CM Devendra Fadnavis among others.

CT Ravi took a dig at Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and said that the Shiv Sena chief is a 'part-time' CM. He also said that Shiv Sena has become a family party after cutting ties with Hindutva and are enjoying prosperity while the state is in destruction.

The party will collapse soon, and if they have the courage, they should dissolve the Assembly and hold fresh polls. It will prove BJP's strength, he added.

Even Devendra Fadnavis did not hold himself back and hit out at the MVA government. In his concluding speech, he said that the state government has lost its credibility due to its failure. He also stated that CM does not have command over his cabinet, and the ministers are busy with corruption and illegal liquor.

Speaking about the safety of women, Fadnavis said that women are not safe in Maharashtra. He also mentioned that through the violent incidents in Amravati, Nanded and Malegaon there is an attempt to polarise minorities.

Meanwhile, BJP Chief Chandrakant Patil said that the party would hold 20,000 'corner meetings' across the state to highlight the failure of the government and announced a massive rally in Mumbai. It will be against the state government and its "anti-people" policies.
