Mumbai- With BMC polls round the corner, all political parties are striving hard to promote their own party and attract voters.
In an attempt to woo voters, the Congress has fielded former Finance Minister P Chidambaram who was in Mumbai to campaign for the BMC election scheduled on 21 February.
Chidambaram visited areas in Andheri constituency and spoke to people and tried to know more about their problems.
Chidambaram also paid a visit to Dharavi and took part in a rally with Sanjay Nirupam and Ex MLA Eknath Gaikwad. Since a large number of Tamilians stay in Dharavi, Chidambaram addressed people in Tamil and appealed to them to vote for the Congress, saying it would help develop Mumbai.
