Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday morning to attend the annual meeting of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and later plans to address BJP leaders and workers on Anti-Emergency day.

On June 26, 1975, Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared emergency where the fundamental rights of citizens were revoked. PM Modi will express his gratitude to the activists who resisted against the Emergency at the time and fought for the democratic values. This meeting has been organised by BJP’s Mumbai unit and will be held at Birla Matoshree Auditorium in South Mumbai.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State President Raosaheb Danwe, and others will present at the event. After this, PM Modi will hold discussions with businessmen in Raj Bhawan.
