Congress MP Rahul Gandhi arrived in Mumbai some time ago for an INDIA alliance meeting. As soon as Rahul Gandhi arrived in Mumbai, he held a press conference at the Grand Hyatt hotel. In this press conference, Rahul Gandhi said, the G-20 conference is being held in the country. Big leaders from all over the world are visiting India for this conference. At the same time, what newspapers around the world are publishing on the Adani case, raising questions on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is tarnishing the image of our country.

On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi showed clippings of three international newspapers and read out the claims made in them. Rahul Gandhi said, through Adani's company, one billion dollars went from India to different countries and it came back in different ways. Adani used that money to manipulate the price of its shares. They are now buying airports and ports in the country with the benefit they got from it. They are buying infrastructure in the country. They have just got a big project here in Dharavi.

Rahul Gandhi said, Why is our Prime Minister Narendra Modi sitting quietly while Adani along with its foreign partners are buying institutions and infrastructure in the country? Why are they not doing anything about it? These newspapers have expressed doubts about Prime Minister Modi. Who owns the money in Adani's company? Does that money belong to Adani or anyone else? If it does not belong to Adani, then who exactly invested it? These should be answered.

Why are the investigation systems in our country sitting idle? Why are agencies like CBI, ED not investigating the Adani case? Why are these organisations not investigating Adani? Many such questions were raised by Rahul Gandhi on this occasion.
