When there is a provision of giving priority to local students for the NEET medical entrance exam in other states, why is it not the same in Maharashtra? questioned Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray.

While addressing a press conference in Pune, Thackeray said that he is keeping an eye on the NEET’s medical entrance exam and will not be happy if the state does not give priority to local students. He added that if the state feels intimidated, so be it.

He further said that there is always confusion when it comes to NEET's entrance exam.

Every year, students who are appearing for NEET exam come to me for help because the state government does nothing as it is the union government's puppet," Raj Thackeray, MNS Chief.

When Thackeray was asked about his view on  the ongoing milk blockade protest, he said that he supports the same. He added that the dairy farmers should get the right value for their production. He further said that the state is deliberately ignoring the dairy farmers’ issues.

Speaking on the Ram Mandir row, he said that there should be a temple but at the same time, the state should not use it as an agenda for election. He also criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) adding that the party did nothing in four years and now as elections are nearing, they are focusing on building the temple.

He also shared his views on the potholes issue adding that the state is ill treating people who are speaking against potholes, but the state is doing nothing to cover the same. He further added that he will take legal action against concerned authorities who manhandled MNS party workers for protesting.
