I won’t budge from Marathi Manoos agenda – Raj Thackeray

After crushing defeat in the civic elections, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray called for a review meeting of senior leaders at his residence Krishna Kunj in Dadar. Raj Thackeray while addressing the party workers stated that he will not do away with the Marathi Manoos agenda come what may. Thackeray even clarified that those who disagree with him on this point can leave.

He blamed his party members for not putting across the agenda. Raj said that “My stand is very clear. It is you who have not been able to convey the party’s stand and views to the people. I am always available to meet people, but there is no point meeting them randomly unless we are getting some work done.”

Present at the meeting were party leaders Nitin Sardesai, Bala Nandgaonkar, Avinash Abhyankar and Shirish Sawant. The party didn’t perform well and hit a new low by winning only 7 seats in the civic polls.
