MNS president Raj Thackeray on Monday announced his decision to hold a rally in Navi Mumbai in December. Post this, most people are wondering the agenda for this mega-rally and what are the issues that the party will be picking up post-Diwali.

In the last few days, there seems to be a strong influx in Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. On Monday, hundreds of activists from Navi Mumbai joined MNS in the presence of Raj Thackeray. Speaking on the occasion, Raj Thackeray said that he would hold a rally in Navi Mumbai in December. He also instructed these activists from Navi Mumbai to start work.

A few days back, Sangram Mali, the deputy leader of Yuvasena from Pune joined MNS. Earlier, several Shiv Sena workers from Shivdi and Worli had changed allegiance to MNS. It is said that this could be a healthy sign for MNS given that Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections are round the corner.

What's more, there is a large number of people from Navi Mumbai that have now joined the MNS, it is being said that it will help increase the strength of the MNS in Navi Mumbai.

Meanwhile, other parties too have started their own rallies. Congress has started taking up anti-farmer agitation in the state. BJP is holding rallies in the state on various issues. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also held Shiv Sena's Dussehra rally in the presence of few people. Also, rallies and conferences are being organized by various social organizations. Against this backdrop, MNS has also announced to hold a rally, which has attracted the attention of the entire state. 

Meanwhile, cable operators in Mumbai met Raj Thackeray on Monday morning to raise a complaint against the aggressive policy of ‘Jio’ which is jeopardising their business. Jio is in the process of providing unlicensed connections and has started preparing for the same. In Mumbai, several companies including Hathaway, DJ and City Cable have teamed up to compete in the market with Jio.
