Mumbai – The Shiv Sena MLAs have opposed the suspension of 19 opposition MLAs though the party has stopped criticising the State government on the issue of loan waiver for farmers. Indicating the rising tension between these ruling parties, two senior ministers from the BJP is likely to meet Sena president Uddhav Thakceray at his residence ‘Matoshri’ to sort out differences on various issues.

Senior ministers Chandrakant Patil and Sudhir Mungantiwar will meet Thackeray on the backdrop of rising tension between these two parties. When differences between Sena and BJP had reached its peak during campaigning for the municipal corporations and local governing bodies elections, these two ministers had backed an alliance with the Sena.
After knowing the official stance of Sena, the BJP will make a future strategy in consultation with the central leadership.

Meanwhile, the state BJP’s core committee met here on Thursday to discuss the current political situation. As per sources, 29 MLAs of Congress and NCP are in touch with the BJP and the party is considering mid-term polls if central leadership gives the mandate for their induction into the party.
