Demanding strict action against those attacking the Indian jawans in Jammu and Kashmir, the Hindu organisations staged a protest in the Dadar Kabutarkhana here on Tuesday.
The Hindu Govansh Raksha Samiti, Shivkarya Pratisthan Vikhroli, Hindu Ekta Jagrut Samiti, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Swarajya Yuva Pratisthan, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janjagruti Samiti participated in the agitation.
The agitators demanded that Samajwadi Party’s state president and MLA Abu Azmi should be probed for taking over the school run by Dr Zakir Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation. They also demanded that Dr Zakir Naik should be arrested for inspiring the Muslim youths to participate in the terror activities.
Abhay Vartak, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha, said that he would follow up the demand for investigation of SP MLA Abu Azmi.
