Despite the promise of 50 days by the government, Dhangar reservation has not been implemented, so a grand march will be held in Navi Mumbai through Sakal Dhangar Samaj, Maharashtra on behalf of the angry community members.

Various agitations and demonstrations were held all over Maharashtra to get reservation for the Dhangar community. There was a 21-day hunger strike in Chaundi. At that time, the chief minister's promise of 50 days to the Dhangar community was not fulfilled. And now the government is preparing to appoint a committee for Dhangar reservation.  The Dhangar community has expressed opposition to this and the committee is a waste of time, so there is no need for the committee. Dhangar reservation should be implemented on behalf of the entire Dhangar community, Maharashtra. The information was given in a press conference held at the Government Guest House in Thane on Wednesday. Mahadev Arjun, Bhaskar Yamgar, Mallikarjun Pujari, Sakharam Garle, Raosaheb Budhe, Narayan Kharje, Deepak Kurkunde, Tushar Dhaygude, Uddhav Gawde and others were present on this occasion.

The fight of the Dhangar community in Maharashtra for Scheduled Tribe (ST) reservation continues. Dr. While Babasaheb Ambedkar gave reservation to Dhangar community as mentioned in the constitution, Dhangar community has been deprived of reservation for the last 65 years due to wrong mention of Dhangad.

At that time, INR 1000 crores fund was announced for the progress of Dhangar community, 13 GRs were released. But no concrete decision has been made yet. The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in the current government had promised to address the demands of the Dhangar community in 50 days during the hunger strike at Chaundi.

But even when the 50 days are completed, the government still has not taken any step, so now the community has become aggressive, the said march will be taken out on behalf of Sakal Dhangar Samaj, Maharashtra, with the slogan "No party, no leader, no organisation". It was said in the press conference that 25 thousand members of society will participate in this march. The entire Maratha community also supported the march in this press conference.
