Congress Mumbai President Sanjay Nirupam has alleged BJP of floating tenders and norms in favour of Patanjali by allotting land to Baba Ramdev. BJP has allotted 600 acres of land to Patanjali for setting up a food park in Nagpur. The cost of the particular land is Rs 1crore per acre. BJP charged only Rs 75 lakh on each acre of land, thus a whopping loss of Rs 350–Rs 400 crore is reported.

Nirupam has urged high court to restrict Patanjali from using the land until court’s final order. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has interfered just to pretend that he is considering the allotment. Tenders were issued without rhyme or reason. Nirupam took a jibe against BJP stating that party beats the trumpet of transparency but don’t abide by that.
